Poem -
Make a start
You could see it with your eyes
A world free from lonely tears
A world where the smoke clears
A love that never truly dies
You could hear it with your ears
A world free from painful lies
A world free from hopeless cries
A love that takes away your fears
If you open it will show
If you listen you will grow
If you share you will make a start
In healing this worlds broken heart

For most assuredly Mother Nature could use a tremendous amount of healing as well as the peoples who have contributed this monumental mess that we are only seeing a small portion of today.......If we could get this message into the minds of men effectively the world would be a much better place......I LOVE sentiment and how very succinctly you conveyed this Gargantuan problem........ALL STARS & PINNED!!.......well crafted dear poet sister!!......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.......T xo : )
Hey Tony, thank you so much for this excellent comment. Im really glad you appreciated the rhyming scheme. I had a little play with it. The original was AAAA BBBB CCDD so the bit you liked actually stayed the same as I agree and felt it gave more punch. But I didnt like that cries and lies are something you hear, smoke and tears something you see so I flipped it to ABBA BAAB so it reads better and makes more visual sense. What an amazing write. Man oh man I wish this could be a reality so much. Seems like a teaching to me, very wise words. I agree, to make real change we need to put in as much as we hope to get out. Give back to the community and the community can grow and be better for everyone. Loved this. Got me thinking heaps. Peace and smiles.
Thanks Max. Totally agree, start small and close to home then that love can do what love does, it can spread it wings and fly. It was like a teaching, its funny you said that because it started as questions, can you see, can you hear? Then that didnt sit right with me. I didnt want the reader to question it was possible. That maybe they cant see or cant hear for whatever reason. But we all have the power of thought. So we can. ☀❤☀
