Make Every Day A Pleasure

Sometimes it can be misconstrued
A desire to try to make things right
It's in my nature to want to fix things
But feelings can easily ignite

Emotions are often stronger in some
Than in others, a real known fact
But we all want to get from point A to B
With little as possible to detract

We're only here for a very short while
Ain't no one's gonna live forever
Best make the journey smooth as possible
Make every day a pleasure

Idealistic, did I hear someone say?
Better to strive for the top

Just look how far that you got
