A historical marker 
To install in this shitty dorm room

The history of this space should be known
Recorded
Preserved 
Because how could it not be important 
How could a love so intense not leave a mark--
Singe a spot in the bed, the walls, the carpet 

Because the way you make me feel Is 
revolutionary 
Incendiary
Legendary 

I want to build a monument 
I want to kiss each brick as I lay it down
I want to love it as you love me 
So everyone who looks at it can feel how I have felt under these covers with you 

Everybody needs to know that a love like this
In a place like this
Between people like us
