“Mam’ma where’s Mr. Moon?”

“Mam’ma where’s Mr. Moon?” my granddaughter asked me looking up to the sky, as we walked out  in the eventide and she was looking way up high.. so I thought about how to answer her, without sounding so complicated,
hoping my uneducated explanation would be appreciated.. 

“Mr. Moon is near Mrs. Sun wherever she may be, but the Earth is always turning around that means ‘Orbitting’ you see” “Well Mam’ma so when we see Mrs. Sun on a lovely cloudless day, are you telling me that Mr. Moon is hiding behind her making his funny faces as they play” 

“Yes my little Chickadee, I guess they love playing ‘Hide and seek’ as I lifted her little body up and kissed her on the cheek.. “So Mam’ma will Mrs. Sun ever catch Mr. Moon ? as her tired eyes gave a little blink.. “No Mr. Moon is too clever for her” whilst I gave her a tiny wink..”That’s not fair at all he’s a selfish Mr. Moon, he needs to let her find him.. she will not like playing with him soon!”
“Mr. Moon shouldn’t hide so hard thats not what my friends do..
. “Poor Mrs. Sun Mam’ma  neither wonder she makes it so blue!!”
