Poem -

Man in the mirror

In the mirror, how can this be?
There stands a man that is not me.
I walk away, return once more,
This stranger stares back as before.
I break the mirror and buy one new,
Alas this man he stands there too.
In all reflections to which I gaze,
I can not seem to find my face.
Has my mind gone? Perhaps my eyes,
They say the mirror never lies.
I wish, I wish my mind felt clear,
Perhaps that face was always here.
