Region and Religion, strikingly similar...

Interesting write Rob...personally I take the view that all religions are tainted with the interpretation and ego of man and therefore are not pure. Still...for me, I find churches, chapels and cathedrals hauntingly beautiful x
I agree with your views and also agree they are strikingly beautiful
I was worried about responding to this piece being a 'new kid on the block' here but everything Marion wrote here I agree with re:- organised religions. I, being a man who worked with his hands, am awed by the craftsmanship of the 'holy' places created by our forebears and the peaceful presence found inside them.
Well I'm glad you did respond, your always welcome... we all were new to this at some point. Definitely the craftsmanship that goes into the creating of the buildings and architecture is stunning. Welcome to Cosmo
Hmmmm....agree with Marion and DA above. I believe in the spiritual but not in religion...and yes churches and cathedrals and temples etc are all peace and beauty — but I find a tree-lined grove, or wild Moor, or wild waves on the sea shore, or a quiet river bank far more sacred ( but that's me). I also believe in faries and unicorns and dragons but, ssh, 🤫 don't tell anyone. Thought provoking poem ...well done, Rob x
