Many things can be replaced...
But not people...

Many things are replaceable and when they are replaced they are forgotten
A phone is often replaced and the old one put away and forgotten.
A toy when broken is replaced and the broken toy thrown away.
When a movie is remade the original is often forgotten.
Your next birthday present will wow you more than your last.
When the branch breaks on a tree, you will admire the flowers of the new branch while the broken ones lays dead on the floor.
Many things are replaceable, many things except people.
That is what I thought but when you lose a baby and everyone else around you seems to become pregnant, it is like your child never existed.
Your child is forgotten, for why? Because they never breathed the same polluted air as us...
Because the people who forget never held your baby, you did.
You did and to you there is no forgetting the small life you carried.
You will smile when your friend announces their pregnancy, you will congratulate your cousins at their gender reveals, you’ll buy presents for your parents precious only grand babies.
The whole time you’ll cry on the inside, why is my baby never mentioned, why does no one celebrate me on Mother’s Day, why does no one call your baby, their cousin, their nibbling, their grandchild, their godchild, why must my baby only ever be, the baby that was lost.
I know where my baby is, he/she is in my heart, not lost to me and there is where no one can take them from me, no matter how they try...

I am so sorry for your loss. Your little one will always be with you. I had to give 5 stars for this as it is written so well. The pain and frustration of losing a baby in pregnancy is very well expressed in this poem. Hugs (and a hug for your little one too) x
