Poem -

Marines

I have a son that I always worried about
because of harm’s way.
I'm so lucky that he's here today.

He survived with his friend,
they have a friendship, that will never end.
They took lifeĀ as it came, lucky that their still sane.

They did missions together protecting all.
Lucky they never took a fall.

So proud of them both the brothers so true,
forgetting about their own families so true.

They stuck through tough times, I'm amazed their still here.
One short and one tall, never are showing their fear.

Let me thank them both for what they have done.
One’s name is Doc, the other's Dennis,

My son.
