MAYBE TOMORROW

MAYBE TOMORROW

The year is midway it's end
And I haven't fulfilled any of my promises
Not to myself or even a friend

Today I am up for the challenge
I am determined to change course
I will begin at the beginning
Focusing on that which matters most

I will brush my teeth and wash my face
Do the dishes and clean up the place
Walk the dog whose been laying around
Pick up those clothes that has been
Thrown on the ground

Cant forget the trash from January first
No more swearing I refuse to curse
If only I can find the strength to get out of bed
And forget those filthy words lingering in my head
Today might just be the best day I've ever had

But then again
I love the joy of planning all I can do today
It causes no sorrows
So I think I can wait to get started
First thing tomorrow.
