Me and misery

My pain and heartache fall from the sky in every rain drop, so hard to pretend that you never meant anything to me, but still I have to move forward.

Surrounds by those memories of what could have been, I hear the screams come from the shadows but I don't listen to them.

Pulsing through my veins is the anger that you have left, Wounds break open as time attempts to seal them.

Darkness follows me with my every step, I manage to smile but none realise that it's fake?

I laugh when people talk to me
But within a piece of me dies,wishing for you to walk back into my world.

I'm as different inside as I am the same, prayer you can see that your not to blame.

I know the truth, but it's locked in my heart and now more than ever, it's tearing me apart.
