Poem -

Me, Myself and I

Not You My Love

The pain from my wound, could not compare to the burn from your salty tears. As I saw the pain in your eyes and knew I was the one to blame.Ā

I hold no resentment, for you responded to my decisions. I took you for granted and emotionally dragged you along. I know I’m solely the cause.

We met by chance, we danced by luck, we loved with effort, we argued with disgust, I refused to listen and You refused to keep giving me chances.

The pain from my wound, could not compare to the burn from your salty tears. As I saw the pain in your eyes and knew I was the one to blame.Ā

I hold no resentment, for you responded to my decisions. I took you for granted and emotionally dragged you along. I know I’m solely the cause.
