Poem -

Me, Myself, and You Two

You've push them all away

with your simple disconnection,

And though you hit and curse and shout

You still want my affection.

Everyday I'm with you

I just want to run away

but with these chains of guilt and love

I guess I have to stay.

Your body wilts away before my

very eyes

and when I ask you how you feel

the answers in disguise.

"I'm fine, I swear, I've never felt

better.

I feel young as a boy

and light as a feather."

If feathers were stone

and young boys had weak bones

then yes that would be true.

But I'll monitor your condition

and as long as you get your prescription

it will be a great relationship between me, myself and you two.
