"Meeting you"

You have set my soul  ablaze, 
begging to know to know your mind, 
even if only for a while. 
How your words steal the breath within me
 as only a poet to another can. 
You sing a song only ears my can hear
 and oh how I long for the chance
 to dance with this stranger. 
To know the side of him that lies beneath, 
To be the woman he sweeps from her feet, 
i long  for my prince to save me from danger.
 I am no damsel in distress
 but for him ill gladly scream for help. 
He alone unnerves me, 
in my world no one else. 
My mind can not stop my heart from beating 
to every word he's ever said. 
Feel me as you speak to me, 
you live inside my head. 
And I am inevitably meant to be yours
 even if its only for a moment. 
You have given me many. 
Only now the words do not leave my eyes. 
I walk this Earth thinking of them
 revering me blind.
 But in all the best ways
 you have taken me by surprise.
 My name escapes your lips 
& my world is set on fire for the very first time. 
Oh you don't know what it is you have done. 
But I can not complain. 
I am just beside myself 
hoping I have only done the same.
