MELANCHOLY BLUES

MELANCHOLY BLUES

Sorrow casts her shadow

Of a melancholy blue

Shades of deep depression

In a blue morose hue

Blue willows weeping

A blue sun, blue moon

Blue heartache, blue misery

That won't leave anytime soon

Hues of blue anguish

Colors my world

With mournful blue roses

In blue loneliness, furled

Dark skies begin brooding

With blue clouds and blue rain

A moody blue emptiness

Of blue sorrow, blue pain
