Memories

We all have memories that we keep and cherish to pull them out an make us smile.
And then there are those we lock away and dare not remember, not even for a while.
Some are just fleeting moment's that leave you wanting more. Others are painful nightmares we leave chained behind the door.
Your broken bike from the longest jump that you ever made, an there's the broken heart from your first love left bleeding along the way.
The years go by an we save them like pictures in a book, skipping through the pages because some you can't bring yourself to look.
Under lock and key our tragedies the shattered dreams of me I see,
But blessed am I for in my minds eye, are the greatest memories of you and i.
