Memories Last...

There's no changing destiny,

with beginning there's always end...

That's the way it'll always be, for every thing, my friend...

But for reasons we can't explain,

makes it so hard to understand,

Some times destiny brings pain, without want or demand...

And with pain there's always loss, of the loved ones, we must let go,

On the grave, the rose you toss, falling down to the coffin below...

Leave their souls to rest in peace, let their memories live on,

Slowly the pain of the loss will decrease, 

just as night time turns to dawn...

Someday we may learn to live in the present and not in the past,

Cherish memories loved ones give, life may end, but memories they last!
