Oh, my precious Angels, I am feeling very sad;
For I just saw two darling doggies, walking with their Dad!
Like you, they were dearest Brothers, just a year apart;
They brought back such vivid memories, and rebroke my broken heart!

I watched them prance together, as you both loved to do;
Their bond so very apparent, inseparable like you!
Their Daddies face was beaming, he loved his little boys;
As do I my dearest darlings, you brought me untold joys!

I never will forget you, you are with me every day;
I remember how we’d frolic, and how we used to play!
Oft times you still are with me, in dreams that end too fast;
I wake with tears astreaming, from our love that ever lasts!

I understand Larry, I have 3 furry friends and I too will miss them dearly one day. We have lost a few over the years and it's always very, very hard, no matter how old they are. The memories live.
