Memories of You

Memories of You

I see the water ripple as a swan swims by,
Elegant and proud, against the evening sky.
And the weeping willow bowing,
Like he feels it too.

Do you still see them?
Can you still admire the view?

The sun still rises,
The birds still sing.
Do you still hear them?
Do you notice a thing?

Or are you still away on adventures,
Climbing Everest high?
It wouldn't really surprise me,
Your limits were the sky.

Crazy and eccentric,
Phased by nothing at all.
To you, death is just another journey,
On which you will have a ball.

Temperament unyielding
Loving all the same.
Unique is what we called you,
Like your chosen name.

You will never be forgotten,
Or ever be replaced.
I still hear your laughter,
In every single place.

As I watch the seasons change
And winter comes too soon.
Please always remember..
I have always loved you too.
