I was driving down the Mexican Highway..
Hung over ------
Banditos shooting at my car
All the while me singing out loud to Mexican radio

I'm on a Mexican ~ whoa ohh!! RADIO!!.........love that song........brought me back to my early album collecting days.....and then engrossed me in your experience of driving down the road and being shot at....wow!.........NO WAY you could ever forget an experience like that.........thanx for sharing this Mark......very cool..........later.........T xo

The only reason I know that song is from my Dad and I haven't heard it since I was a kid. Mark I felt the same way you did through your first eight lines when I first heard this song. Pretty crazy how you came to truly enjoy it. It's always interesting reading your writes and much enjoyed. Allstars.
Devon-thanks ...I know that song well...But things happen in Mexico deep in the interior you wont believe...And radio is still big .You go around every corner there something blaring on a radio..Also would not recomend drive to deep into some areas a lot of temptations.. Sometimes songs come on and you don't know the language but you are getting the drift
Ive been twice to Mexico Aguadonas and the ever popular Tijuana, were Aguadonas is border friendly and Tijuana has that feel you were talking about. Federalis holding guns standing on the sidewalk and those temptations I resisted but not the drink lol. I enjoyed that time with my Father and Uncle, but I definitely understand what you mean and im glad I didn't see anything too crazy.
