MIDDLE AGED CRISIS

Yes I am there
In a place once thought distant
And far, far away.
No one told me of its fatigues
Hot flashes, memory loss, and tiredness
Just to name a few symptoms
That one experience in a middle aged crisis.
Trying very hard to make right the wrongs
Having to deal with the future
While life pass is captured in love songs.
Feeling very youthful and young at heart
But its not difficult to see
Your body is falling apart.
Trying to keep up with this fast paced world
Computer age and cyber space
While old friends and love ones
Vanish without a trace.
Children grown but still living at home
Now its you that must adjust to their way of life
Sons having husbands
And daughters having wives.
This is one part of life
I had hoped to miss
The weary days and tired some nights
Of middle aged crisis.

So true my friend... I am a tired 58 years old man...... The last of 11 children... But the world was a much better place back then.. How things have changed.... Thank God he is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore... Thus our prayers has a chance.... As always.. Cherie.... Thank you for your comments and support.....
