MIDNIGHT HAS FALLEN

Midnight has fallen
In shades of lonely blue
With indigo tears
In a blue morose hue
The skies are weeping
In a cobalt blue mood
I keep trying to escape
But I can't seem to elude
In the middle of the night
I'm tossed, back out to sea
In a depth of blue loneliness
With my blue misery
Blue stars hanging, with a sapphire moon
Above the dark blue night
I can't escape the melancholy
Though I try till the break of first light
Midnight has once again fallen
In shades of lonely blue
It's going to be another lonely night
In the sea, waiting for you

My Dear Gayle,
.
The clock has struck it's twelfth bell
In the light of the golden moon
But her sleep is not forthcoming
For her heart has been hollow hewn
.
In mood of pure blue cobalt
She tosses and she turns
For her soul is melancholy
For him it ever yearns
.
Hugs, Peace and Love,
Larry xxx
