Mind Chronicles pt 1

Who am I to you?

Someone that is the gatekeeper to all that is sacred? Or someone to call for a moment of relief?

Am I of utter importance to your universe when you call upon my being? Or is it to satisfy your loneliness cause no one else would?

Who am I to you?

Am I the financial institution when your funds start to run low...and you no longer have any options besides the name that which was given by my mother? Adding my hard earned wealth and fortune to yours without the slightest gratitude? And anything vise versa brings you confusion?

Who am I to you? 

Am I your friend...your foe...your lover....or just a body to occupy? A stimulant to give your wandered soul a high? But when that high dies out....who am I to you?

I have the slightest idea who I am to anybody or anyone on this planet. Am I a valuable asset to your cause that would crumble to the earth without me? Or am I that 9-5 employee that could be disposed of and replaced in a blink of an eye?

What I am to me?

I am diligent intellectual with the decency to share passion and heart with those that I reach. 

Engraved in my DNA is the ability to outshine any other being in this millennium but at the same time help those reach this level of excellency. 

Sometimes I think with my heart before my head, which is a fatal aspect that I will never regret, and I would die gracefully knowing so. 

If what I am to you is none of which described that fails miserably to appear in your vocabulary or mind span, 

Then clearly....what I am to you is nobody

A nobody that is to too rich for your blood

A nobody that gives you the very disease that your fear

And yet...A nobody that could care less about being your nobody
