Miracle You

Feeling nothing could be as it had been

After what I'd been exposed to and seen

Being in misery, desolate and alone

Without a place to call my own

The anguish of a parting tore me up inside

From the world, I wished so much to hide

My isolation I created to convince me

That I wasn't needed by anybody

Doubts of my worth circled in my head

Sometimes I felt I would be better off dead

Not wishing to be a burden on anyone else

Experiencing a complete breakdown of oneself

It seemed I'd pay the full price for my ways

But then a MIRACLE brought me out of my daze

Making everything right, giving back self-esteem

YOU appeared to me as if in a dream

Now, I can finally stand upright once more

YOU have revitalized me to the core

So, I wish to convey my gratitude to YOU

Telling here, how YOU pulled me through !
