Mirror

The blade
    The knife
    The stove
    The rope
    The water
    The gun
    There’s ways, so many ways
    He left
In a way i never thought
He called me to come over
    I said no
    He yelled
    He hurt people
But i loved him, i loved him with everything in me
    Finally I went
He sat on a chair, in a room, his brothers room
    I walk in
Only in 6th grade i see what i never imagined
He's there knife in his hand, gun on the ground….
I stand in the hollow walls, the silence of the night caves in, breathes on me.
    Silence
    Dark
    A mirror
A mirror is present while I’m there
I look on the ground it’s there
It’s glass shattered as though someone hated it
    Someone did, he did
The blood dripped i could hear it
The police showed up a few minutes later
    He lies there helplessly,
    Only 16, his lifeless  body
    He took it,
    The boy
He took his life, sold it to the devil
    He is gone, but
    The mirror
The mirror
    It witnessed everything
the mirror that holds all the secrets of the past
    Saw him slit his wrist
    saw him kill himself
saw him struggle his whole life
    That’s what the mirror saw
no one knew the struggles that happened but the mirror
