Mirror

Peering into the darkness
Looking Deep into pools of despair,
Seeing reflections of an empty soul,
Like an Endless void,with
Depths beyond which the mind's eyes never before behold
Seeing too many dimensions of one soul,
A heart wanting to be consoled,
Wanting to find solace in the midst of despair,
Purgatory,
looking at a lost soul,
Searching for the truth,
seeking the core,
Wanting to find the root, with thoughts constantly being uprooted,
Seeing soiled images,
Hate's seeds being planted,
Knowing the right options but wrong choices being implanted,
Decisions implemented,no dreams, but nightmares being imprinted, resulting in scared emotions being printed,
Like tattoos, a blank mind forever stained,
Can't see beyond the immediate pain,
No medicine can murder this pain,
Reflections like looking through the window
panes
And it hurts knowing, that all these images are the same
And all the voices sound the same,
Set an appointment with death to lodge a complaint,
Hoping she could console from life torturous games
feeling alive asleep and dead awake,
Questioning, if death is real and life the fake,
Each beat the heart makes cause more aches,
Why is life filled with so much enigmas is it that god made some mistakes,
Is something wrong, was someone forsaken,
A soul too lost, searching, still trying to find its taste of heaven,
Hoping this burden can be lifted and rest be given
Seeking justice for life acts that are so unjust,
a soul locked in prison, surrounded by guilt and fear, a spirit forever frightened,
can't escape death speaking life to lethargic thoughts,
Creating a life that's the perception of the mind's reflection
Seeing life through the eyes of a heart that is filled with disgust
Each day the cell narrows, thoughts only of escape, trying to defy fate,
with widened eyes I sit
Peering into the darkness
Starring Deep into pools of despair,
Seeing reflections of an empty soul,
An Endless void with,
Depths beyond which my mind's eyes could ever behold
Seeing too many dimensions of my soul,
My heart wanting to be consoled,
Trying to find solace in the midst of despair,
Staring into the eyes of the only one who cares

Very moving. I've known many of these feelings before.
