~Mirrors of Time~

Reflecting on images 

Circling traces in mirrors of time 

Memories of madness pollutes my mind

Living in my sadness a dark place so unkind 

A tragedy weaves the web

Dreams and promises left unkempt 

And a bleeding heart 

Shattered and fading fast

How long will this misery last? 

Hopelessness settles in

Suffocating in the emptiness 

Drowning in my despair 

Blinded by my tears 

Demons screaming at me 

Deafened from the noise within 

All alone inside myself with this 

Pain and suffering pulling me under 

My life holds nothing worth saving 

As visions of my dark past appears 

Path of shadows leads to my death 

Retracing years in mirrors of time.
