Money

Money can't cure cancer
but it can buy meds,
money can't make you a professional dancer
but it can make sure the word of you spreads.

Money can't buy you the moon
but it can make you an astronaut,
money can't prevent your life from ending soon
but it makes sure your grave is the prettiest anyone's got.

So let's not be delusional that it doesn't mean much,
although I don't want it I need it to survive,
Like poison that I shouldn't touch,
but the weapon it provides keeps me alive.
