Monsters

Started a journey away from paradise,
Brimfull eyes,be fated dreams.
A day never passed absent of whispers,
Words in mind she always remembers.
Chasing the path, eluding and slipping.
Walking a while allied with a pal.
A sense of trust he boxed her with,
Beaming and longing she walked with him.
This world nest monsters they never agnize,
knowing or not they dwell in a hell.
Sensing an evil ,staring like a devil,
Poison in the air, feeling of a layer.
Monsters are here,
Ringing with the wrongness.
They grin and they laugh,
Flowing with the fondness.
A gust of grievous anguished her pal,
All she can see is blood on the wall.
Going through sinister,demonic and ugly,
Her life is in danger, crying insanely.
She is riding on hell, end is nowhere.
Witnessing an act she thought is rare.
Hands are approaching, filling her with terror,
Her soul is shivering feeling them nearer.
Craving with lust, their eyes look angry.
Lurking and barking, wanting to hurt her.
She never want to give up,but there is a limit,
She cried like never, they never want to stop it.
Apparels are thrown like skin from the body,
Making pleasure from someone's agony.
Weeping and hoping,appealing for mercy,
Still torn apart she left with nobody.
Dreams are shattered,life doesn't matter,
Her breath want to leave, holding on or later.
She still is fighting and she wants to live.
Only she left the world, and monsters are alive.
A better place hugged her and she is waiting,
But trials are going on like no one is acting.
Heart filled with grief and eyes filled with hope,
All she want is the monsters hanging by the rope.

This poem is inspired from the brutal act of gang rape of a 23 yr old girl in a moving bus in New Delhi,INDIA that happened on 16th dec,2012.She fought like a hero, but the damage to her body and soul was fatal. She passed away after coping 12 days with her injuries.Though she is in a better place now but still waiting for the justice when the monsters will be hanged to death.Still trials are going on.This poem narrates the story that happened.
