Poem -

Moonlit Trees

The Moon through the trees with the gentle whisper of the morning breeze,

This entirety sets my soul at ease.

Nature’s beauty as her gift she gives, never failing as she lives… in my heart…

I close my eyes.

From my soul I say a prayer to the light I feel is there…

Thanking God for all I know.

For all I’ve seen… where I’ve been, for all things now… and even then…

Experience that brought me tears… of joy and sadness through the years…

The strength of life has quelled my fears.

Ingratiated I remain, for life, to me, is all the same…

I must express the love I feel, for life, miraculous and real.
