Poem -

More Than My Friend

I want to run,

Far away,

But my feet don't move,

So here I stay,

Why did it have

To come to this?

Was nothing you felt

During every kiss?

How can you throw,

Out all our love?

I was the hand,

You were my glove,

I covered my heart,

So it wouldn't break,

Until my hand to you,

I gave to take,

The ring on my hand

And the love in my heart,

This was the beginning,

of our forever start,

You opened the door,

You pulled out my chair,

Wherever we'd go,

There was love in the air,

So how can you say,

That this is the end?

When I know you should be,

More than my friend!
