You were more than just two puppies, you were the mates of our happy Souls;
One by one you came to us, and made our lives so whole!
You filled our gaps of loneliness, you inundated our hearts with love;
Your affection was unparalleled, our gift from stars above!

With you we found Nirvana, pure Paradise here on Earth;
For which so long we had been searching, but only found its dearth!
Our Souls were e’er united, a quartet so unique;
The epitome of pure passion, for which we’d so long seeked!

Our days were spent together, at night we laid aside;
Our bodies close and touching, our babies right beside!
In the morning when the Sun rose, we’d waken in pure bliss;
For when your Soulmates are laying next to you, nothing is amiss!

But now we are without you, you both have had to leave;
For your far too short longevity, forever will we grieve!
Much more than just our puppies, you were the keepers of our Souls;
Which will cry for you forever, ne’er again will they be whole!
