Poem -

More than you know

As I sit here waiting for you

Thinking about everything you didn’t know

I dream about a time long gone

I dream about where were from.

I miss the way you used to make me smile,

I miss the butterflies.

Now everything is grey and cold

And you are gone.

Strangers in the same bed

Our pillows not even touching

What happened?

Where did you go?

But I love you

More than you know

And I remember

More than you know

As I fade away into my dreams of you

As I remember your sweet words, sweet lies

My dreams become ugly

With the passage of time

I start to hate you

More than you know

And I despise you

More than you know
