Poem -

Mortal Mortality.

Witness My Own Mortality.

Mortal Mortality.

One day I died,
But didn't leave.
Lupus had taken my air & had stolen my heartbeats,
Right from under me.
The potential of this mortal,
To witness my own mortality.
The flashing ceiling lights,Β
Multiple hands on my chest,
Removing obstructions,
To feed tubes into my flesh.
Whether there was anathesia,
I wasn't aware,
My mind had wandered to the life,
I had & yet to comprehend.
Waking up from a coma,
Nine day's I travelled the spiritual realm,
There was no pain just hope,
Which delivered my soul back into My body in the physical world.
To breathe life into a new existence,
Replacing my old values & new Appreciation for time.
The importance to give & live as Much of it,
Because there is no immortality,
On this planet earth of mine.
The interesting thought,
Is when people look into my eye's.
They have no idea,
I witnessed my mortality,
On the day I died,
But thankfully I was brought back to life.....
