Mortality

I questioned my mortality today
Is there a tomorrow, a life after this?
Do I come back, reincarnate, in some other form after this
Do I enrich the earth with kinetic waves?
Connected to everyone and every thing.
Yesterday was
Today is
Tomorrow may be
How do I ensure my immortality?
I pray so my soul maybe blessed and kept safe in his kingdom
I live and give with unselfish theory of morals and wisdom
Applying scruples to all my actions
An unconscious cerebration
The pregnancy of my thoughts birth questions
Why?
Is my predestination only to die?
Why is it that after death is when I truly live, why?
I questioned my mortality
How do I live forever and do it sincerely
What should be my soul’s refection?
My mind deep in reflection
My soul’s introspection
My life today must leave an impression
I realize that I can be immortal
A legend
My name being called years after my end
I must be the best I can
More than the shell of a man
My life I must alter
Ensuring I don’t faultier
I must travel through life setting a standard
So my generation can benefit from me a stalwart
Life’s true steward
So tomorrow
Long after my clock expire
My name and deeds will live on, my fame will never tire
I will be immortal
My name will never die
Tomorrow was not promised, so today I live
Need not ask why
Today is
And each moment I will be
Growing in love
Learning patience
Teaching lessons of my experience
Seeking knowledge for myself development
Looking for the wisdom within each passing moment
So I can establish my name, Esquire the legend
