Mother Nature

Mother Nature

Streets cry empty the whistling wind,
Free from footsteps traffic drone,
Mother nature stirs from yielding,
From the sword of constant wielding,

The human fight for domination,
A wake up call for every nation,
For a second, the human plunders,
For a day the mother wonders,

Such an impact has this species,
On all the beauty she possesses,
Such a speed was this progression,
Mother nature calls intervention,

From the towns the crowds fall silent,
She takes control to urge repent,
Isolated discontentment,
Though she does not hold resentment,

For in our hands the future does lay
On this reminder she makes her play,
The truth is clear though views reluctant,
For on mother nature we are reliant.
