Mr. Tom Foolery ?

I met that man Tom Foolery the other day
He seemed very serious as he shouted “GOODDAY”
But I could see through his charade this was just his gameplay
So I politely said “Yes Thank you” then I scuttled away

Well would you ‘Adam and Eve it” he hurried after me and said “I am your new neighbour Thomas Foolery”
“I should like us to be the very best of friends you see”
I smiled and said “Pleased to meet you and yes I agree”

Huh I went on my walking after saying “Goobye”
as my curiousity wondered about that twinkle in his eye
There was something odd about his character as he pretended to be shy
He had made the whole neighbour tale up without a reason of why

So now when I go out walking well I have changed my route
coz I don’t want to bump into that mad Mr. Foolery the fruit and If I ever see him I will give him the boot 
He can go and take a jump from a parachute
