MRS CARTER AND HER NEW CAR

Ā
Mrs Carter decided she would buy a new car
Looking forward to journeys both near and far
She listened intently to the salesman's patter
Fuel consumption and speed didn't matter

The small blue one would be easy to parkĀ
A good choice according to salesman Mark
She gave it the once over the deal was done
Delivered tomorrow so she could start her fun

Sure enough the car was delivered next day
Keys handed over would soon be on her way
A trip into town would be nice thought Mrs Carter
She turned the key and the car was a non starterĀ

Mrs Carter had been taken literally for a ride
A dud car that looked nice from the outsideĀ
She rang up Mark who was nowhere to be seen
Nor was the money she paid both cruel and mean
