This is my 100th Poem at COSMOFUNNEL.................."My Feet Upon The Ground"
Each day I wake up, afraid to put my feet upon the ground
The pain of touching them to the floor, physically frightening me
Sometimes the needles that shoot through them, stab into my soul
Making me give in, for I have lost control
Of everything I used to be
Except for the words, I use each day
That help me keep the pain away
And today I have to say
You people here at cosmofunnel
Have been helping me more
Than you will ever know
To keep "My feet upon the ground".

This is rich in beauty, shrouded in pain. I am sorry to read that you suffer daily with physical pain, which pains the spirit. But I am in admiration to read that you are writing your way through the trial. I wish you a brightened future, Tony.

Tony your poetry, (it appears, is as fluent and as remarkable, as a freely spoken and casual conversation to be held with you…They,(your poems), seem to come with ease and always captures the full attention of the readers... My brother Curtis and all above, has said it better, than to have been spoken by any....And I do second the words of Nardine, in Colleens case, (Wow)!! I am crying, I am wondering how it is that God, in his infinite wisdom, managed to place me in such a wonderful community of friends and fellow poets. My future life has been layed before me, these past few months, as I spent time here with you all. All the while, without knowing what I was going through, you all
welcomed me, and encouraged me. Without knowing you were helping me through my difficulties, just by being beautiful. By being kind and poetic, to your friends and to me. You helped me to remember that there ARE people such as you, who support one another for the simple pleasure of participating in your craft. I would be hard pressed to think of a better place to heal my soul as well as my physical imperfections, than right here amidst the cosmo family. I am so grateful to you ALL, everyone mentioned above and everyone I have yet to meet. I feel like I should find some special words to say to you ALL how much I Love and respect you. This was such a surprise to me that I started crying, and now I amxx smiling, I wonder WHY that is. Do you think God had something to do with this? I do. You're all to good to be true.............my love and admiration.........thank you JIM and everyone............
