Poem -
MY BEST MATE
On the train in an excited stateĀ
Off to Colchester to meet my best mateĀ
I first saw this guy about 10 years or soĀ
Just as the Wimbledon queues were starting to grow
From that day on we have had a laugh and a jokeĀ
I greatly admire this jolly Dutch bloke
Paris, Munich, NYC are some of places we've beenĀ
Not forgetting the lovely people we have met and seenĀ
My best mate is named Leo and lives across the North Sea
He is like a brother,father and friend to meĀ
I dedicate this poem to him for he is one hell of a guyĀ
Friends forever till the day that I die
