My bestest buddies 💕

But I reminisce back to my childhood, now I am getting old

Those sunny summer school holidays, dipping in the salty sea

When my best friends and I would build castles, on the sun-kissed sands so carefree

What on earth has happened to our wonderful world?

Nowadays one nasty thing after another is unfurled

There are menaces in mankind that are twisted and twirled

Constantly starting conflicts  sounding sirens skirled

Oh if only we could go back to those happy times of carefree

When not a bit of bother would ever trouble me

Haha I can still hear my Mam just like from yesterday, calling me for my tea
