My calming gin🍸

My calming gin🍸

Clinging cobwebs are in a cluster

I reach up a height with might and muster

Holding my long, lean feathered duster

I battle blight as a dirt buster

I hate those Spiders black and small

That creep and crawl upon my wall

I think of arachnids with such appall

And can not tolerate them at all

As soon as Autumn comes around

Those slyest, sneakiest Spiders are found

Silently weaving webs without a sound

They appear from nowhere from the ground

Doing their very best to blend right in

Sat sitting with a great big toothy grin

But I pelt them with my rolling pin

Then pour myself a calming gin…
