My Christma Socks 🎅🏼

My Christma Socks 🎅🏼

I love my folly, jolly Christmas socks..I think they are so sweet

So I seek out the most wackiest ones I can find, then I put them on my feet

I have absolutely loads of them..in fact I just can’t get enough

I’d even wear them in the bath when I am totally in the buff

Haha Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas, without my crazy Chrimbo feet

I put on a clean pair every morning, before I walk along the street

Then I notice people glancing down at me, as they give a little giggle

So I lift my foot up so they can see them very well, and give it a jiggle, wiggle..

The silliest socks the better, as long as they are festive

I seek out in the shops, the ones that are the most suggestive

Like Santa halfway up a totem pole, holding a bottle of booze

Haha that’s the kind that I’m talking about, and the socks that I would choose

Alas only yesterday I put a furry pair upon my feet, thinking everybody will love those,

I thought “Grand these will keep in the heat!”..plump Christmas puddings with merry, berry mistletoes…

But about an hour later my Husband said to me

“Do you realise your socks have had it? your heels are hanging out you see”

Well what a pity, I had to take them off and throw them in the bin

I’d thoroughly worn them threadbare last Xmas, till the stitching wasgetting thin

Never mind there’s plently more Christmas socks to choose from, stuffed in my sock drawer

As a matter of fact, there’s far too many nowadays and it won’t shut anymore…
