My eighteen Lime tree stroll?

As I amble effortlessly along past my eighteen lime tree stroll, I scrutinize the small heaps of soily hillocks and I search for Mr. Mole..but yon grey, furry little friend is nowhere to be seen after he has left his earthly mess on those pastures of green..

And I study each spaced out lime tree as I always do, they are on my left-hand side of this country lane with such a beautiful view..and of course I count each and every lime tree, number one right thru to number eighteen, haha I am indeed a creature of habit if you know what I mean..Now my canopies of lime leaves have all withered away, on this awesome, airy Autumnal day..Yet I reminisce from just a few weeks ago when I was here in the Summer sun, listening to the overhead humming, honey bees busily having fun..

What a buzzing racket was in those eighteen lime trees, right above my head amidst the sunlit canopies.. I can recall how I would quicken my walking pace, apprehensively in a hurry to pass these insects..one would think that I was in a race..but the last thing I wanted was stung by those busy bees, so I power-walked in a rush past those noisy trees..
Mind you as I walk by them now well there isn’t any sound, just the “Moo”, “Baa” “Quack”..”Quack” of the farmyard animals and the ripple of the riverside can be found...
