My eyes
Delve into green nothingness,
End up in cavernous space,
Drown in an eternal pool of pity,
Once you've seen what I have to offer.
You'll have to look much more closely,
Magnify your senses,
What you think to be normal,
Is the opposite in here.
Psychoanalyse my psyche,
Turn from my reality,
It's only when you're on the edge,
You'll understand where I'm coming from.
We can jump together if you wish,
I'll show you worlds you never knew existed,
Let me bind your hands,
So that you feel as powerless as I do.
Wrap your dirty tentacle essence around my thoughts,
Suck them up and keep them for your own,
Soon you will know that I'm not just the madness you see on the outside.
I am far more than the words I utter,
Few as they are,
I am more than the things I make you feel,
I am someone. I am something.
Don't judge a book by its cover.

Hi Tony! Thanks very much for taking the time to read and comment! ?
Hi Samantha, I really enjoyed this...It has a very dark edge. We are not just an outer image, their is substance inside..this goes for everyone but I think it's especially true for those poetic souls among us...
Great piece
