My first shared moment

Nothing ventured, nothing gained,
Coz of the illusion created
by this quandary, everything’s strained.
Lost control and wrecked my ship,
And I was stranded on that meteor.
Flying fast past those meteorites
Caused an event I couldn’t even describe.
Lost my mind and I felt it cry out loud…
My heart that kept on thumping on my ribcage,
Coz I was filled with mixed feelings.
Up there in the middle of nowhere,
A comet flew miles away from me.
Yet scared, nervous and confused,
Smiles reappeared when I saw that shooting star.
Felt like a fairytale but I almost lived not to tell the tale,
Coz I was near my very end.
Till another came crashing down towards my ship,
My engine was busted,
And my ship was doomed,
But nevertheless that lotus bloomed.
Saw its beauty from afar and I enrooted my love on it.
And then… just then…`Reality came! `
And I saw myself under the moonlight
Adoring that star and realized that my first shared moment
Was my first kiss with him.
And soon my crazy imagination subsided a bit and I listened to her…
My heart that sang a melody so sweet
That even he heard it out loud and pulled me close to him,
For he wanted to listen to her as she sang inside.
