MY FREE TV LICENCE HAS BEEN TAKEN AWAY
At last I'm seventy five years of age today
A free TV licence will be coming my way
One of the perks of getting really old Will come in useful when the weather is cold
I put on the news and what's this I see
Seventy five year olds no longer get a licence for free
How could they could take this privilege away from me
Can't be right I'm sure you agree
The TV is company now I'm not good on my feet
A form of escapism that can't be beat
It's not right, totally unjust and most unfair
Almost as if the government don't seem to care
