My giraffe...

My giraffe...

When you walk out the door
Imagine a giraffe oh so tall
Walking with you, telling you what you can't see
Up here, there's a funny looking flying bee
He tells me, we've got to go and meet my friend, he's a monkey, he jumps around Len 
Can you not see him? He's that crocodile up ahead
The giraffe is slowly turning into a small dog, in it's mouth, a big log
But what's that with a long tongue? It's a big old frog trying to catch the sun 
The monkey starts to get bigger, it's beginning to look a lot like a gorilla! 
The angry looking crocodile now, looks like the British isles 
But where I live on the map, it's got a great big smile 
The dog with the big log is nowhere to be seen, I think it's turned into a fish in the deep blue sea 
Now, the gorilla has turned into a zebra, it's running away as he doesn't want to be dinner
The frog was enticed by the smile of the British isles, it somehow has joined it's side
To be fair everything has joined into one
I'm in my garden holding hands with my dad, lying on the ground
We'll speak about our day, while waiting for more clouds
I enjoy the wind with a bright cloudy day
It's when the all animal come out to play
This memory has made me laugh
But in the rain I still miss my giraffe...
