My gnome called Jerome 🧙

Whilst my moving fingers are busy tapping, writing yet another little poem

I am watching out of the window at a green garden gnome

And believe it or believe it not, his name is Jerome

Now Jerome is sat on his wooden stool with his flimsy fishing rod

He has a smile on his smug face, coz he has just caught a cod

Now this might be a miracle and amazingly odd

Haha some might think of it as an act of God

But miracles can happen in the land of make believe

Anything can be possible from those wonders that I weave

One just needs to be a bit vulnerable and a trifle naive

And just like that magician, watch what I will pull out of my sleeve

“Abracadabra” so you can see my garden gnome too?

Haha he is holding up his catch of the day, to prove to you

That he can come to life even though he is only a statue
