My Golfing Prayer

If the grass is green and the sun is hot
To miss a golf game, I shall not,

Gather my friends and book a tee time
Call on the phone or book it online,

Clean up my clubs and shine up my shoes
Load up the cooler with food but no booze,

Bring lots of water, an umbrella in case
And have enough balls to not have to chase, 

Walking the course is good exercise
But renting a cart, you get a good ride,

So whether you’re down south or at home to play
Bring your best game anytime of the day.
