My Guiding Light
I climbed the mountain of love
to find you at the top,
I was battered and bruised
but you took my hand.
Your heart sang to mine
with a love so sweet,
the darkness now gone
the moon shining so bright.
The dream came true
at that moment so sweet,
I never could have made it
without you.
No one knows how truly
you have made me,
a man who possesses
the love that you gave me.
Across the ocean
so vast and open
I found you my sweetheart
by your soul's loving bright light.
